North Queensferry is the southernmost village in Fife, tucked onto the peninsula where the three Forth crossings come ashore: the Forth Bridge of 1890 straight overhead, the Forth Road Bridge of 1964 and the Queensferry Crossing of 2017 alongside. It has been a crossing point since Queen Margaret's ferry in the eleventh century, and the ferry itself only stopped in 1964.
